From the Storm Forward

The Road We Are Walking

What began in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene became a ministry, then a church, then a growing fellowship. The path ahead is still being built, one faithful step at a time.

Walk the path
01

The storm became the beginning of a larger calling.

Beginning

Hurricane Helene

The storm changed lives, displaced families, and revealed how deeply people needed refuge, practical help, and faithful community.

Service began where devastation left people searching for somewhere safe to stand.
02

Faith, relief, and fellowship began taking shape.

Established

The Ministry Formed

Service, faith, relief, and fellowship came together. The Savage Saints began taking shape around a shared calling to serve.

The first foundation was not a building. It was people willing to carry one another.
03

More hands joined the work and the mission expanded.

Growing

The Ministry Grew

More people joined the work. Outreach expanded, leadership developed, and the mission became clearer with every step forward.

Growth came through ordinary people choosing to serve with uncommon commitment.
04

A ministry became a lasting spiritual home.

Reformed

Becoming a Church

The ministry became The Savage Saints, Church of the Savage Heart, with a lasting identity, structure, and spiritual home.

What had begun as service became a covenant to walk together in faith.
05

Distance no longer meant walking alone.

Connected

Online Fellowship

The congregation began gathering across distance through prayer, livestreams, conversation, worship, encouragement, and support.

Fellowship found a way to reach beyond walls, cities, and state lines.
06

Participation turned fellowship into a living community.

Alive Together

Interactive Community

Games, creative ministry, shared events, and live experiences created more ways for people to participate and build genuine relationships.

Community became something people could enter, shape, and share.
07

The next chapter begins with a place to plant roots.

Our Next Step

Purchasing Land

The next major step is securing property where the church can gather, grow, serve, and begin building a permanent ministry home.

We are preparing for a place where fellowship and service can take physical root.
08

The first working foundation on the land.

Future Path

Establishing Base Camp

Preparing the land with utilities, gathering areas, temporary lodging, access roads, and the first spaces needed to begin ministry there.

Before permanent buildings rise, the land must become a place where ministry can begin.
09

Spaces designed for worship, restoration, and service.

Future Path

Building Ministry Buildings

Chapel, fellowship spaces, retreat facilities, creative rooms, service buildings, and infrastructure for lasting ministry.

Every structure will exist to make room for people, purpose, and ministry.
10

Faith moving outward through practical service.

Future Path

Community Operations

Vehicles, food service, volunteer response, relief support, outreach, and practical help for the church and surrounding communities.

The campus will not be the end of the mission. It will be the place from which the mission goes outward.
The Road Continues

One Faithful Step at a Time.

The destination is not simply land or buildings. It is a place where people can find fellowship, restoration, purpose, and room to serve.
